This process consists of multiple modules or sections which are manufactured at our facility and then delivered to their intended site of use. Modular construction units comprise of pre-finished timber framed or steel framed module systems, which - when linked together - create finished buildings. These systems are fabricated up to and including mechanical, electrical services as well as internal and external finishes at our quality controlled environment.
Our team of expert designers have extensive experience of producing a wide range of solutions for the health, education, leisure and domestic sectors. Our renowned modular process means that 80% of construction is done off-site – drastically reducing build times and impact on the environment.
WBS strive to complete buildings on time every time by achieving the following benefits due to this type of construction methodology: -
Overlap of Programme
While sub-structures and site services are being carried out on-site, the super- structure will be in progress simultaneously in the factory off-site, reducing the overall completion schedule by as much as 50%
M & E Installation Offsite
Mechanical and Electrical Installation can be carried out in a controlled factory environment. Up to 80% of Mechanical and Electrical Installations will be carried out off-site.
Low Risk of Project Overrun/Delays
Our building process is less susceptible to weather conditions. When the pre-engineered system buildings arrive on-site, they can be made water tight within 2 days.
